Dr. Michael A. Janusa is a distinguished professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He earned his Ph.D. in Inorganic/Analytical Chemistry from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in May 1993, and his B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana in November 1985. He also holds an Online Instructor Certification from Stephen F. Austin State University, obtained in December 2011.
Dr. Janusa’s extensive work experience includes various roles such as Professor, Chair, Interim Chair, Coordinator, Director, and Graduate Faculty Full Member at Stephen F. Austin State University. He has also served as an Interim Department Head at Nicholls State University and an Adjunct Professor at Louisiana State University-CAMD.
His research and scholarly activities are vast, including patents, development of online homework systems, authoring textbooks, and numerous publications and presentations. He has been granted several external and internal proposals for his research work.
Dr. Janusa’s contributions to academia have been recognized with several awards, including the 1998 Presidential Award for Teaching Excellence at Nicholls State University. He has also been listed in the Who’s Who Registry Among Executives and Professionals and Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of Scientific Journals International.
