Research interests

Wilma Cordova has conducted research in the area of displaced families following disaster, immigration issues, working with the elderly and HIV/AIDS in the rural context. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from New Mexico State University and a Master of Social Work from Michigan State University. She is a CASA board member and an American Red Cross mental health provider, and she has been involved with recovery efforts following natural disasters.
