Abstract

A Monte Carlo code has been developed to study the structure of linear polarization degree across all observable solid angles at any level in an atmosphere-ocean system using the complete Stokes vector. The code helps in calculating the positions of neutral points in upwelling light both above and below the ocean surface under various conditions. The presence of aerosols in the atmosphere and hydrosols in the ocean was observed to affect the locations of these neutral points.
