Abstract
The text describes a newly developed method for observing neutral point locations in the atmosphere's natural light field using a digital camera and linearly polarizing film. By applying this method, the authors have observed neutral points in the light field above a water surface, reported their locations, and compared the findings to Monte Carlo simulations.
