Research interests
Dr. Janet Jones received her bachelor’s degree in human ecology from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania, and a master’s degrees in accounting and business administration from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her doctoral degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. Jones served as an auditor and tax accountant in public practice, and as a government finance officer before returning to academics. Her research interests include judgement and decision making, governmental accounting and accounting pedagogy.
