Research interests
Dr. Luis E Aguerrevere is the director of the Human Neuroscience Laboratory at SFA. He is from Barquisimeto, Venezuela. He has a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Tennessee Technological University and a Master of Science and PhD in applied biopsychology from the University of New Orleans.
Dr. Aguerrevere’s focus is the examination of the biopsychological factors that contribute to chronic pain, post-concussion syndrome and sports performance. His specific areas of research are pain assessment, neuropsychological and neurophysiological assessment, somatization and malingering differentiation and the experimental validation of neurotherapy.
